Such peaceful surroundings – the natural beauty of the site is off the charts. It was very quiet as well, with good pubs and walks available without using a car.

The site owners were flexible. Facilities were basic but functional and reasonably clean. Pitches are flat and spacious, with nice quality ground – pegs go in easily. There are picnic tables available for use.

So so so accommodating, originally had booked camping but due to heavy rainfall called the owners late on and let us stay in the barn.

The barn cosy and a unique place to stay! Thankyou so much guys you saved 4 already soaked boys get dry for a bit! Also great shower facilities.

Fabulous peaceful location only 10 min walk to the town of Knighton. Friendly, helpful staff, well manicured camping field, lovely clean facilities (new showers nearly finished).

Plentiful wildlife, as it’s a working farm, the sheep are herded across the camping field, a superb thing to experience. Various good walks and hikes from the site itself. We will be back!

Had an amazing May Bank Holiday weekend here. Even though it was busy everyone was spread out and each pitch had plenty of room.

Stunning location, with the best walks literally on the campsite doorstep. The toilets and showers were spotless and the owners were so lovely and made everyone feel welcome. We will 100% be back!!

Beautiful and convenient location at the beginning of the trans-Cambrian trail.

Roxy was super helpful allowing me to pay a small extra towards leaving my van there while I cycled the trail, keeping it safe over five days.

Beautiful area. I will be coming back next year. Toilets and showers are perfect, plenty of different fields to choose from. Scenery and the surrounding area is just wonderful.

Only a short 10 minute walk from the town centre but you wouldn’t know it as it feels very remote. Land owner is lovely and she has a sheep dog who roams around and occasionally says hello, she’s very very friendly and loves a good belly scratch.

Spot on. Roxy was very accommodating after the field being far too wet to get any of our vans on to she did her best for us and let us pitch on the farm grounds which we were more than happy with.

Very happy with the site, fantastic location and good facilities. Couldn’t ask for any more. 5* Good little town of Knighton nearby and fantastic walking route all around the hillside to the viaduct a few miles away.

Lovely site. Large areas to pitch up away from others. No electric hook up but it was not needed with having a microwave, kettle, freezer and fridge on site. Facilities spotless. Buildings had lots of character.

Site surrounded by trees and had a river running past it. Fantastic place for a walking holiday and only a ten minute walk from pubs and somewhere to eat. Can also recommend the Saffron Indian and Horse and Jockey pub.

Great location, lots to see and do immediately on your doorstep. Well maintained showers and toilet block, lovely owners and a food stall.

Quiet, but next to a seldom-used railway, which can be a bit noisy but is well worth it to be so close to see the trains. When it’s busy may be tricky to get a good spot, but on the whole, beautiful with amazing views and fully recommended. Good wi-fi/signal if you’re working.

A scenic, laid back, wild camping style site, right on the River Teme. We stayed for two nights over Easter, then again in June! The scenery was stunning throughout both stays. The campsite is nicely laid out, with plenty of generously sized pitches.

The facilities on site were some of the best I’ve come across – with clean shower, toilet & kitchen facilities. The site has a public footpath running through it & is situated right next to a railroad. The pubs and shops are only a fifteen minutes walk into town. To top it all, the site is Dog friendly & campfires are allowed on site. The owners were very attentive towards the campers at all times.

The site is beautiful, right on the river teme, looking up at Pampnwton Hill, 25 minutes walk from Knighton. Roxy was a fantastic host, advising where to pitch. Due to wet conditions even ferried all our camping kit down to our pitch. (three journeys, didn’t realise how much kit fits into the back of a car).

The newly renovated shower block is brilliant, providing beautiful hot showers, washing up facilities and freezer/fridges. As well as charging points and a kettle. We will be returning and have also give our camping family and friends the thumbs up on this great site. Highly recommended.

Roxy is a great host. This is a very relaxed campsite and is kept pristine. New showers and loos with a great washing up area with a fridge, freezer, kettle and microwave.

The river that runs past the site is delightful. The train track that runs alongside the site is not busy, making the occasional train a matter of interest rather than annoyance. A 10 minute stroll into Knighton for a great selection of pubs and local shops.

Very enjoyable. Peaceful, relaxing site. Amenities are good, electric kettle in the rest room. Easy to find, very nice hosts. Red kites flying around.

Lovely walk into Knighton with great pubs, cafes and fish and chip shop. Great for site seeing southern Shropshire and mid Wales. Highly recommend.

Stayed here over 3 nights for a University society camping trip, and the campsite was great in every way.

The owners were friendly and accommodating; the site was beautiful and well kept; the facilities had everything we needed (with excellent showers) and were well maintained. We very much enjoyed our stay at the campsite and will hopefully come back next year!

Welcoming owners. The facilities were clean and a perfect campsite next to Offa’s Dyke, River Teme and Knighton only less than a mile away. Working sheep farm with natural unmowed areas.

At my pitch:- the thistles were in bloom with many bees, on a migration path every 5 minutes for the Meadow Brown bufferfly and 6 swallow youngsters were getting ready to fly abroad. Perfect pastoral scene.
