We’re a family-run campsite which opened in 1963, just before the Offas Dyke path first opened.
The campsite is on our working farm, where we keep a flock of 300 texel cross breeding ewes.
We lamb them all outdoors from April onwards, so if you’re planning to stay around that time, you’ll be sure to see lots of little lambs skipping around!
We are very passionate about farming. Our aim is to produce lamb in a green and environmentally friendly way, striving to reduce our carbon footprint whilst working alongside nature.
Our farm is in an environmental management scheme which offers significant benefits to high-priority areas.
Its primary objectives are:
Maintenance and Enhancement of Landscape Quality and Character
Natural Resource Protection
Protection of the Historic Environment
Promotion of Public Access and Understanding of the Countryside.
Recycle All Camping Waste
We look forward to meeting and welcoming you to Panpwnton,
